Hook: Alec Jackson Spey 3

1) Wrap the rear third of the hook with pink flashabou.

2) Tie in a piece of olive copper chenille.

3) Tie in a piece of peacock krystal flash chenille and palmer it one third further down the shank to create a thorax. Be sure to leave room at the front of the fly.

4) Palmer the olive copper chenille forward one third over the thorax. Be sure to leave room at the front of the fly.

5) Give the fly a collar with a large mallard feather, I prefer natural usually, but you can use dyed.

6) Tie in a small bunch of copper/gold and a small bunch of kelly green flashabou. I use gold on the Joe and copper on the Mo.

7) Tie in and palmer a black marabou feather a couple turns.

8) Finish the fly.
