Outstanding job maintaining shape and flair of the hair, neat head. I really liked the looks of this fly and think it would fish very well. Nice job Barry.

It is my go-to steelhead fly. My best color is white, followed by blue, then purple.
I fish this fly down and across with a traditional swing with great results.
Recipe as follows:
Hook: up-eye salmon / steelhead hook of choice size #2 thru #6
Thread: Benecchi 12/0 (white)
Tail: x-tra select imitation polar bear hair (dyed w/ blue rasberry kool-aid)
Body: natural wool (white) dyed like above
Wing: x-tra select imitation polar bear stacked "matuka style" in 5 sections.
Collar: x-tra select imitation polar bear
Eyes: jungle cock
Head: White 12/0 thread. (red thread on all other colors of this fly)
